Through various combinations of social media, press blasts, flyer design, video production, flash mobs, events as well as collaboration with our various clients and friends we have established ourselves as buzz creators. We like it. We really, really like it.

We like to think of promotions like throwing a big party creating a memorable experience that will bring people back to your venue or business, back to hear your music, back to see your art. The idea with promotions is that you create an atmosphere where people feel compelled to continue to support you.

SOULPHONICS AND RUBY VELLE

These guys are spectacular live. Ruby fills a room with her voice and the energy of the Soulphonics behind her propels audiences to dance all night. They are really one of Atlanta’s finest groups live. What we noticed though was that they had very little video collateral to show for this – and though they can garner a sold out show in many of our venues we thought it might be a nice touch to produce a live video for them to promote for future performances. Press loves to see what we do, fans love to see what we do – and as accessible as youtube is … we thought it was about time they had something nice to put out there.

Bang! created this video from a one-camera shoot live on premises of The EARL in East Atlanta, GA as a part of our being hired by Soulphonics and Ruby Velle to handle local press placement. Not that the press in our fine city hadn’t heard about Soulphonics or  their music. Rather, it was about getting them a little taste of what a live show felt like. And the performance was greeted by a roomful of very eager attendees that evening. Glad we got to catch a bit of that this night.
